Advocate for your Child’s Educational Needs
Your
involvement in the education process is critical. This training session will inform foster
parents, adoptive parents, and safe family parents the basic information and
skills necessary to advocate for and obtain quality special education and
developmental services (including modifications) for the children in their care
who are between the ages of three to 18 years old. Come and learn strategies
and tips on how to work in partnership with your school district on behalf of
the children who are in your care. Foster parents will be able to obtain
continuing education credit hours for attending this class.
