**IOLS will give 100 children brand new lunch boxes with food vouchers for the
Summer as well as for the 2014-2015 School Year to help supplement the
State Lunch Program for those Children who in some cases their only meal is lunch**
More than one in five (22.2%) of children in Illinois face a constant struggle against hunger
Here is a snapshot of Childhood Hunger in 2011
**More than 745,000 children in Illinois are at risk of hunger**
**More than 23% of households in Illinois with children struggled to
afford enough food for themsleves and their families in 2010**
