Safe Families for Children is a movement of the church to support parents and care for children in crisis in order to prevent child abuse, neglect and the need for foster care.
Safe Families is currently in desperate need for host families (who care for children for short periods of time) and other volunteers (mentor parents, transportation, babysitting). They had 1000 placements last year and recent calls for help are currently beyond what they can handle.
