Adoptive Parenting Course Offered in Lake Zurich

 Compassion for Kids, a ministry of The Chapel, is offering a 10-week parenting course. Adoptive parents will explore new ways to break through to their adopted children, despite their past experiences of fear, neglect, and trauma. This parenting course is based on the book, Beyond Consequences, Logic, and Control, Volume 1, by Heather Forbes.  The course is taught by Amy Tanner, LCSW, of the Cherry Hill Center in Lake Zurich.
