Who is Adopteen?

Started in 2007, Adopteen is a community founded by teens, organized by adoptees, for adoptees, as a reaction to the lack of Chinese adoptee role models and community in our lives, at the time. We are the young adult adoptee "culture" focused on the young adult adoptee experience, having a responsibly irresponsible amount of fun, living loud and doing good. Adopteen Midpoint Retreat in Oregon!

Registration for the Adopteen Midpoint Retreat in Oregon is open!

Adopteen focuses on providing positive, face to face opportunities for teen adoptees ages 13 and up.  It’s a chance to meet other adoptees in a casual and positive environment that is organized and led by young adult adoptees!  We host events throughout the year and travel to a different part of the country each time.  We strive to make new friends, and take pride in who we are and where we come from.

Midpoint is a chance for adoptees to get a quick taste of Adopteen.  It’s a whole Camp-Conference packed into a long weekend - a small dose of all the fun a Camp-Conference has to offer.  We will be going to Gresham, Oregon this year, which is 30 minutes outside of Portland, from January 14-16th. We are excited to be surrounded by the beautiful woods for our outdoor adventure!

 Adopteen Hotlanta is coming back for round 2! Three days and two nights of good old-fashioned fun, Midpoint will camp out at Camp Westminster -- just 30 minutes out of Atlanta!  Drive over, fly over, bike over --  We want to see you!  As always, if you do fly over, we'll pick you up. Probably with big cut-out photos of your face.   Maximum 50 participants

You read that right. ADOPTEEN CAMP-CONFERENCE IS GOING INTERNATIONAL!!! Okay, so it's not "across the pond", but still.  Our first Camp-Conference of the 2016 summer is heading to the Great White North(west) and we want to see you there!  Drive in, fly in, ride a moose in -- We cannot wait to eat some piping hot pancakes with you.
