As always, we will offer shopping from Fair Trade vendors and an Exhibitor Hall to make sure you leave with a headful of information and an armload of resources!

Great news! We have been approved for 6 hours of Illinois foster care license / training for prospective parents, and 6 CEU education hours for adoption professionals seeking Social Worker credits.

Finally, anyone involved with adoption is welcome to attend, regardless of CAFFA membership.

The deadline for all registrations is February 19, 2017. Space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Fee includes breakfast, lunch buffet, access to all conference areas, and certificates of attendance for those requesting documentation for foster care license renewal hours.

We hope to see you there!

Beautiful Movie with Adoption Theme!

I had the opportunity to see the movie "Lion" this past weekend, and highly recommend it!  What a beautiful film and beautifully told true story about family and the mother/son relationship.  If you are adoptive parent, you will especially relate to many of the moments in this movie.

Safe Familes Sunday

Safe Families invites you to join us for Safe Families Sunday at your local church, as we connect children of parents in distress with host families who are committed to sharing the love of Christ by opening their home. By providing this extended family environment to those most vulnerable, you can help keep a child safe and reunite a family in Christ’s name.
Safe Families Sunday
February 12th, 2017

We are encouraging churches to participate by showing a brief video, making an announcement, incorporating it into a sermon,  hosting a reception, or create your own way to be involved.

If you have questions or need additional resources such as scripts, videos, sermons, etc. contact danderson@lydiahome.org.
